AGS (HK)

The membership of the Association comprised a fairly even representation of consultants, contractors, academics and client bodies which having a common interest in the practice of site investigation, geotechnics (soil mechanics, rock mechanics, foundation engineering, geoenvironmental engineering), engineering geology, geophysics, geochemistry, hydrogeology and related disciplines.

The main objective of the Assocation is to be seen as an organisation which provides a balanced view from the Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Community in Hong Kong. We believe that the Assocation is in a good position to provide a balanced view on industry issues that is currently unavailable from the learned societies, the government or contractors' associations.
